The key is to find the combination of tools that works for you. Which tools feel most natural to you? Which ones can you integrate into your daily schedule? One area to focus on is your LinkedIn profile. Having a thorough and up to date profile will increase your visibility to potential employers.
2. Lean on Your Community
It is during hard times that communities need to come together. If you are struggling because of the situation with COVID-19, don’t hesitate to reach out to members in your community. Some community members are in a better position to help than others. People are empathetic by nature, and they want to support each other. Connecting with other members of community may open you to new job opportunities.

This is the perfect time to work on writing better cover letters. With social distancing measures in place, the first impression that your resume and cover letters make are more important than ever. Employers spend more time reading longer resumes, which can end up making these resumes more memorable. Lengthening your resume can also give you the space to explain gaps in your work history.
